To update or add new reference points to the map, you must first delete the existing reference points. When you delete reference points, N4 also removes the yard perimeter and any entities from the map. However, these elements re-appear when you add new reference points.
To delete reference points:
Select Actions Delete Reference Points.
In the Delete Reference Points form, click Yes.
N4 deletes the reference points from the map and hides all drawn yard elements. In addition, the toolbar displays only 
(the Set Reference Point tool).
